free Import/Export tool causes duplicate "descriptions"

I am using OpenCart v 1.5.6 and the free Import/Export tool. I have accomplished the Export, then edited the file, then Imported it, but it duplicates all my "description" text, and on some items that text is duplicated several times. The first time I went in manually and corrected all the products and categories after the descriptions were funked up, but that isn't workable for me.

Can I workaround this by only Importing new products, and as such will the existing products and categories remain? Is it because I have formatting on the "description"?

Another issue that impeded my Import was an error on various headings, in both Categories and Products. The Exported spreadsheet edited certain headings, (required Shipping, status Enabled, and length Unit in Products, and status Enabled in Categories) such as those headings said ...

required Shippingrequired Shippingrequired Shippingrequired Shippingrequired Shippingrequired Shippingrequired Shippingrequired Shipping"

............. and I had to edit those headings down to get the Import to upload without errors, but yes when I did get the Import to work, the description text was duplicated in various products and categories.

here is the example, after one Import: http://american-supply-corp.com/ocart/i ... duct_id=58 Some products will have only three or four duplicates, and some will remain intact as they originally were. Some categories also have this issue, but not all of them.

after jacking the descriptions up again, i tried Restoring a backup of the exact .xslx file that was Exported originally, which i was careful to save without messing with it at all...........and got an error:

I have found that the duplication occurs during Export. I looked at the original file I Exported and I have duplication of the "description" field contents, as well as duplication of the abovementioned headings ("required Shipping", "status Enabled", and "length Unit" in Products, "status Enabled" in Categories, and under Options the headings "prefix price", "prefix points", and "prefix weight" are all duplicated.)

Please if someone has a suggestion on what to patch, what to change, I would be most grateful. I have hundreds of products on this one product line, with dozens more product lines I need to add.
