you are downloading 0.x templates with 1.x Cart. Nothing from 0.x will work with 1.x. The download repository is basically ALL 0.x stuff now. There should really be a new main site with a proper download manager that can be split.
The 0.x contribs should really be moved to the www.OpenCart0.com site
