How to get data from input field on product page and display in cart and wishlist in opencart 1.5.6.4?

I added some input fields in product page tpl file, that will be filled from users and I want to display them in cart and wishlist. How I could do that?

Hi. Is the data being stored permanently against the user record? if so you need to create and update tables in the database. a forum or google search for 'develop opencart mvc module' will help understand how to do it. T update existing modules then you need to use teh VQMOD to add code the the MVC files for product etc.
