Updating Theme

Curious as to if a theme update from an older Journal version to a newer one would require me to setup pictures, modules, banners etc. on my site again?

Their support is only 6 months and they charge nearly the same price as the theme to access support following that.
I want to know before I purchase is why I'm trying to figure out now.

Well, Journal Themes experienced some problems, just a short while ago.
and they urged all Journal Users to upgrade their Themes to the latest Versions.
