back up images and restore lost images maps

This tutorial shows how to back up your uploaded images ( in the admin) and restore them if a map is accidentely lost.
You need for example fillezilla to get acces to the HTML coding of your website. (see Youtube)

First create in documents (in your computer) a new map called for example backup-opencart.

Open filezilla
Log in with you login codes you have got from your host.
Now goto web/image/data
Here you find all the images you have ever uploaded to your shop.

Make a regular backup of the all the images in data:
Find the backup map on the left side in filezilla (this is in your computer)
Drag the file (data) from the right side to the left side in the back up file.
The file is copied and remains also on the right side (your shop)
The copying of all the data can cost you some time.

If a map is lost you can easy copy it now from your backup map to the data map.
Simply drag it from the backup map into the data map.
Single iages can be copied from the left side directly into the maps inside data.
