Couple of little errors from my theme files:

Sub-Total: Notice: Undefined variable: sub_total in.....catalog/view/theme/mytheme1/template/checkout/cart.tpl on line 47

and similar sub-total error in cart module: ...catalog/view/theme/mytheme1/template/module/cart.tplon line 19

This won't show up if you're using the default theme, only if you've carried over a theme from 1.4.7, and have included these files in your theme. I used an app called Beyond Compare (very useful!) - it shows the templates for these two files have changed between 1.4.7 and 1.4.8. - Or I could be totally wrong, it's a bit late at night.
Could someone else check and confirm? Thanks.

The files have changed yes, but from what I can see, there's been no difference to the sub total template

Yea, that variable has been removed and now the full totals array is shown. So you will need to update that tpl file

Thanks so much for looking at this, Jay, and Qphoria. It took hardly a minute to fix: just wondered if I'd goofed up.
It really was a painless upgrade though, fantastic!

How do you update the tpl files? What code do you have to use?

Hi Mariposa.mukti - I had only changed small details in the cart.tpl files, so took the easy route. I picked up the files from the v1.4.8 default theme and FTP'd them over to the same location in my custom theme, overwriting the ones showing the error. My customisations will be re-done shortly.

Since the code has changed between the two versions, I think the only way forward is to re-customise the new .tpl files.
