OC 2.3 Product Discount Question

Hi:

OC 2.3

i have a product discount set up and a new Customer group.....so when someone logs in who is in that group the get a lower price....right now the new lower price shows on the product itself. Is there a way to make the discount now show until it is added to the cart?

With an extension, yes, but by default it will show everywhere it is mentioned.

What happens to that discounted price once the produce removed from the cart afterwards?
