events duplicates

hi guys

new to open cart and the forum, thought id test it out as I have heard its quite good.

Anyways my issue is with the events are in open cart 3, I notice that I am getting multiple entries for each event code I am wondering if this is normal? so example I installed product manager module which shows on the main dashboard screen fo some reason it showed up there twice by disabling one in the events section this corrected the issue now only one products manager is showing in the dashboard. this is all well and good because I could seee it but other extensions are showing there five times or more and I don't know why so my questions are how comes it showed twice when I only installed once?
why is this happening ?
how can I stop it happening do I need to stop it happening?
dose having multiple events effect the way my system runs can it cause other issues ?
