Hi,

When I add my Google Analytics code to my extensions, for some reason it's displaying at the top of my website? What is that about?

What can I do to fix this?

Well, if you're affraid, to place a real link here, then, better place at least
a readable Image size, or then, it's of no use, trying to find out.

Sorry Ernie,

I'm confused by what you mean really, I didn't want to display my whole website. That code is in the top left. I am can post more pictures if you want, just tell me what is needed.

Give us an example of the code you're pasting in, and a link to the website.

It sounds like your theme could be coded incorrectly, or you're pasting something dodgy.

Ok I enabled the analytics extension again, I thought perhaps it was dangerous to some degree to display the analytics code. Here's the site; http://ozzentials.com.au/index.php?route=common/home

As you should see, it's displayed in the top left hand corner. Even when not logged into an Admin account.

What exactly are you pasting in the code box in the admin interface?

Specifically my Google Analytics tracking ID, but I think I just found it stupid me.... It was meant to be the Global Site Tag (gtag.js) am I right?

Yeah.... that seems to be working... I think I must learn to read xD sorry guys, thanks everyone.

Yes, it's the JavaScript you need not just the ID.
