RE: Automate Mailchimp Campaign based on OpenCart Order

Hey guys,
I have a client who wants to automate their mailchimp campaigns in OpenCart when a customer places an order.
What they want is a few different campaigns
1) Welcome email that goes out when a customer signs up
2) Customers who buy something get a newsletter sent one week after buying something
3) Review Request for customers after they place an order
4) Target Individuals who buy particular product with a campaign related to the product they bought
I thought we could do this with tags in Mailchimp but we need to work out how to automate the tags when they place an order.
Has anyone got any hands on experience setting this up?

That's an option too, would like someone to explain the process before committing to a commercial solution. Hard to find a transparent developer these days

You just use "Automation" in MailChimp. We've done it before for clients, we do it for our own email list, we've got a project in progress doing this, and we're happy to help you too - get in touch!

Cheers Paul, figure it out. Using Clear Thinkings Mailchimp Pro Intergration, so now I just have to trigger and set up automation in mailchimp
