Admin Navigation Panel OC 3.0.2.0

I have installed OC 3.0.2.O on a live site, the biggest issue I face is with the admin panel

When I login the Navigation panel is on the LHS and it is constantly open and I cannot reduce the width of it as I can on my OC 2.1.0.2 website

Is this a bug or just how this OC 3.0.2.0 is configured ?

Can I edit the code to enable me to reduce the width of this Navigation panel ?

You have installed or upgraded?
Never upgrade on a live shop. OC admin dashboard by default working fine without editing any code.
