Ok I understand that I have to move the storage folder out of the doc root. But what if I have multiple Opencart installs on the same server? What then? I tried doing something like C:/wamp/storage-multiple/storage-new, but I'm getting errors. How do you arrange your storage folders? Because I don't want 100 folders in my public_html when I finally upload all the Opencart stores I plan to do to cPanel.

You could do what cPanel server do and have a home directory for each account with a webroot inside it like this:

/home/site1/public_html/ *this is the webroot *
/home/site2/public_html/ *this is the webroot *
/home/site3/public_html/ *this is the webroot *
