Ensure to have properly configured your config.php and admin/config.php files as well as your .htaccess (if .htaccess file is active).

Hi, same error here... but never change (from the installation day) root/config.php... admin/config.php... no htaccess..
The error message appeared without touching anything in months in both stores with OC, however..on static sites there is no problem, they all work without problem. This is affecting my two opencart stores only.
OC 2.3.0.2 / OC 3.0.3.3

How did you solve it?

Does the file actually still exist at the exact path?

If you have made no changes then maybe ask your host as they may of changed something or it's false positive from some sort of security feature.

See this post to ensure your config.php and admin/config.php files both have the proper paths: viewtopic.php?f=199&t=198781&p=699560#p699560 .
