Mail settings getting lost on save of settings page ?

HELLO, Im on latest opencart.
In the backend, I went to settings, and went to MAIL tab and entered my SMTP LOGINS, and clicked on SAVE.
then when I goto the edit again, I dont see my SMTP details.
Is it getting lost or its some kind of bug or some kind of special security of SMTP not showing but saving in the backend ?

No OC version posted. What is the status message below the breadcrumb menu once you save the form in the admin settings page?

ITS THE latest downloaded from official website.
And success message is saved as usual.
Nothing else.

I don't see ... any video on your last posts, so far ... if you are referring to the screenshot on your first post, it does not indicate the status message, however, which is why my previous question was asked.

No SEO has still not been enabled.
I will be enabling it after everything is tested.
How is SEO URL related to backend form not saving issue ?

Is the mail tab the only tab in the settings page not saving values or other tabs as well?

Ensure the mod_security is disabled in your php.ini .

disabling mod security is a huge security risk.
Why would opencart need it disabled ??
