When modifying the return status and selecting to notify the customer, no email is being sent. I am not receiving any errors and the logs are clear. Does any one else have this problem?

I must say I've been working with Opencart since 1.5 and Opencart 3 has been a pleasure so far and I have experienced little to no issues.
