Lack of guidence

Hi

I have been using 1.5.4 for a while
I've just moved properly to OC3 and so much has massively changed, even from version 2

But there seems to be no guidence, no support, no documentation on how to do things.... either I am missing something... but from what I see the way of creating a new theme in OC2 (to build up from the default one) doesn;t seem to work the same way in OC3

I want to use the latest version, but I'm feeling completely left out on a limb

Where are there resources for learning the way OC3 works and how to use it properly... I'm not a developer... I'm a user and builder
