Add to cart animation

Hello everyone,

I just installed opencart on my host, and I have a problem/question.

When I click on the "Add to cart" button, I don't see the animation, and the Shopping cart page loads (index.php?route=checkout/cart) with the options Update, Continue shopping, Checkout. The item is added to the cart, no problem there, but I would like the animation, and after that I don't want the Shopping cart page to load. I want it to work just like the demo.

Latest version, no changes made at all.

Am I missing some easy setting in the admin?

Admin -> Extensions -> Modules -> Cart -> Enable AJAX

But then the cart doens't work anymore with Javascript turned off :| Any way to turn ajax off when JS is deactivated?

There is no way to use OpenCart when JS is deactivated. It has been decided that javascript makes the user experience much better so it is required to be enabled. All the buttons in the cart use onclick, dropdowns use callbacks, payment modules use callbacks. It all requires JS
