Product issue

Postby Ripraw » Mon Jun 18, 2012 9:30 pm

Hi

I am creating a store using Joomla (2.5.5) and Aceshop (1.4.2). This appears to implement version 1.5.1.3 of OpenCart.

My issue is there doesnt appear to be a parent/child product relationship in the data structure. My site is selling various clothing and shoes etc. So each Parent product will have child products of itself.

For example:

Shoe A. Is Black in colour, with a white logo. It has a basic cost price and a sell price.

Shoe A in Sizes 1,2,3,4,5 Each size has its own barcode and possibly sale price.

I cant see how I can create this product without creating a seperate entry for every size, which would be rubbish.

Could someone point me at what I am obviously missing?

Thanks

Simon

You need to create options and then assign them to the product.

Yes I know about options, unfortunately they dont allow me to add in barcodes or pricing for each option, also they are multi assign so a colour can apply to a trainer or a t shirt.

Ok, I installed Options Boost and can use that for SKU per option.

Now i need to sort product purchase price.
