Does anyone have a way to add all products/category/manufacturers to a new store? I have a script that will mass edit all products for example but I don't see the store option in the sql db for the product/category/manufacturer.

is it like product and option like store1 = 1 store2 = 0 and what not or how is it set in sql? I am trying to add a new domain with a separate theme and such but use the same products as my main lordofthe.net. Updating each product one by one is not an option... Might work for manufacturers and categories but even that would take hours.

Take a look in the product_to_store table. Basically you want to duplicate the whole of the entries in there, and change all of the 0's to 1's for the store_id (or whatever the second store's ID is) for the duplicates

So it would only work for a maximum of 2 stores doing that?

Well if you duplicate all of store 0's values again and assign the id 2 then, then you'd have a third store. Basically you need to define the store id and the product you want in that store. It links the two together. You can do it for an infinite amount of stores and products

Let me refrase that. IS ther a script around already made that does this for opencart? or any kind of addon? I do not know how to make a script that does that. I have one that will mass change a tag in current things but not that will duplicate everything and change for that.

Excel Import/Export allows for multistore if I remember correctly. Depending on your store customisation though, that may or may not be an option

the csv importer I use works with it when adding new prod or reset database but not when updating. I need someone with some skill to create a simple script or addon that can mass add all prods categories and manufacturers to second store.

Does anyone have a script like this already made?

So does anyone have an mod or sql script that will add ALL current products to selected stoer? like say I have 3 stores. All products in one store. and need to get all the prods from store 1 listed in store 3. store 2 is a specific manufacturer so don't want them added to that.

Make a backup of your 'product_to_store' table

Upload the attached file to your store root (where index.php is)

Run it as follows for each multistore

http://www.yourstore.com/runonce.php?id=999

replace 999 with your multistore store_id

You rock! I did hafta delete the current store id for the sub stores's from the db since they were causing errors. but instant re-added ALL. and minor edit to the code did the categories to. :)

This is why I buy a lot of mods from you :) always great support

Hi

Just used the renounce script, superb ^-^ saved me so much time.

Is it possible to change the script so the catagories and manufacurers are also added to the new store?

Thanks

Thank you for this script i had to add a 9th store and while import works great i also then have to resetup dependent options for the dependent options extension. so this worked great! Thanks you!
