[Tutorial] Getting Started with OpenCart v1.5.x

New to OpenCart as well. Trying to set up and in Settings>Server there is:
Use SSL:
To use SSL check with your host if a SSL certificate is installed and added the SSL URL to the catalog and admin config files.
with a radio button. I have the SSL certificate(s) and private keys: ******.com.crt, ******.com.csr, ******.com.key in my cPanel/File Manager in the home>ssl>certs and home>ssl>private directories.
I opened the admin>config.php but I'm not sure what or where I'm supposed to put there or where in 'catalog' this info is supposed to go.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

First of all I am a complete newbie at this.

I'm setting up an online store but I want to learn how to use OpenCart by the trial/error method with video tuturials etc...
I don't have a web host and I can't pay for one before I am ready to upload a site to it.

Is it possible for me to test run OpenCart without a web host and learn how to build sites with it offline? I don't know, is there a free web host that supports OpenCart that i can use for my test host? Or just install it onmy pc?

Any tips and advices are very welcome.

It is a function in the class db.

I just downloaded open cart and am now trying to add a theme to it, i downloaded my theme , but problem is configuration of the new theme. I am using MAC, filezilla, uploading files without problems but i can't get the settings rights. Can someone tell me the right path to go. " catalogue/view/theme and...." i found that i have to create a new folder with the name of the new theme so i can see it in opencart "systmem settings" but the problem seem to be with "template layout" the new theme does not appear in there. Can someone please give me step by step guidance my directory: /public/admin/catalogue/view/themes/default..... thank you.
