Hi,

I have just launched my oc shop and carried out a test order. I noticed that the order id number the customer received was "Order ID 18". I dont really want my customers to think I have only just launched as it may make them think twice about ordering.

Is there a way that I can set that to start from say 10018?

yes, go to your php my admin. choose your opencart database, and order table. Then at the top choose "operations" and where is "auto_increment" insert your number what you want. And press "go" ;)

Thanks for your reply cemas. I can find the oc database in php my admin, but try as I might, I cannot find the "order table", or "operations".

Can you explain in more detail for me please? I would really appreciate it.
