I'm using the most recent SVN release of v1.5 and having issues with missing orders now. There have been no changes to the site (it's a test site) and all the demo data is intact.
I've read all the other threads about missing orders, but what makes this different is that I'm using "Free Checkout" and "Cash on Delivery" as my payment methods, which don't need to make an external call to a payment processor. I've checked everything that I could think of and can't seem to figure it out. I posted here instead of the bug thread because I wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing this too. I've been using OpenCart 1.4x for a while with no issues and have Arvixe as my hosting company.
I just tried it with Cash on Delivery and free shipping options and my missing orders are showing up normally. Not sure what to tell you. Are you filtering the search for missing orders? Are you getting to the confirmation page and then checking?
Yes, I go through the entire checkout process with no issues at all. I've tried using different shipment methods and creating a new product that is free and doesn't require shipping or a payment and it still shows under missing orders. I've also confirmed that the default order status is "Pending" for Cash on Delivery and "Complete" for Free Checkout.
Ah, i thought you meant that missing orders were not showing up at all. I'm not using the latest SVN, so I can't verify it. Hopefully someone else can.
