Hello, I was making a lot of changes to my site using opencart. However, those changes weren't showing up on the site. it wasn't getting published. So In the settings I changed my status from Admin to Content developer hoping that might make the difference but now I've lost all admin rights and I'm the only one on the account. There is no other admin accounts in there. I need this fixed. Please help

Okay great. Are you referring to the DB from cpanel? Is there a specific name/ title of that DB?

Hello
Just check the config.php there is a db name which is used by you
You need to go to cpanel then open that Db and go to OC_USER table
there You will find your old username also
Just add here the new username and password and all stuff
Take the db or table backup before you do anything for our side safty
Thanks
Sachin

Administrator permissions in Opencart
Sometimes altering the permission settings in the admin can have the effect of
locking the top-administrator out of some functions and thereby all access is denied.
If this happens you need to revert to the original permissions that were set on install.
Back database and files up first. Best is you get the installer version and reapply it.
Download the file
oc-restore-user-group.sql, then go into the admin and reset
the permissions in user group screen.
