Insert product images problem

Hi, forum friends,
I wrote many time my problem, no one want to help. this is another time.
I insert my product from admin panel>products tab insert button. product name shown on front page, but not product image. I don't know how to do product image for. I uploaded my images via FTP to image/cache/data DIR but how to shown on front page.
If someone help me tell this I very very appropritiate.

First question: What version of OC are you using.

Uploading your images to the cache folder will not achieve the end results you want. The cached images are a result of image processing done by OpenCart.

Upload your images to the folder at the top level directory structure of your store "image" (ie where the admin, catalog, system folders are).

I'm having the same issue on OC 1.4.7 today.

The image file is uploading sort of (Camel.jpg) - at least the data part of it, but there is no actual image itself to view as it just displays a '?' mark in the image manager.

I have set all folder permission to 777 - does anyone have a solution to this issue?

Does it matter that I have the OC site uploaded to a subdomain off my main site for testing?

My site is 1.4.7 version.
I want to ask one more question: your top level directory mean: image?
After upload to image how to do? all be good or do something else?

I did, Uploaded images to OpenCart/image directory. I waiting for what to do next.
But those images didn't shown in admin panel "image manager", using image manager top menu "Upload" tab to upload images shown there, but here all images demension changed to 100x100 ,

I sorted out my earlier issue which might help you....

In the root dir > image > cache - change the data folder permissions to 777.

Worked a treat for me.

i changed permision all folders: image>cache>data all three's
This will be effect all inserted product images? or after this changes insert will be affect?
Can you tell me usually how to add new products and images? step by step.
