I have a problem with shipping cost sometimes not being charged.
If a customer registers and adds items to the cart, then logs out and later returns, the items are still in the cart except no shipping cost. They can then complete checkout and the shipping cost is not added.
Would appreciate if someone could point me right direction in solving this.
Many thanks Nigel

Thanks for reply. Yes, using PayPal standard.
Was yours just a one off or has it happened again?
My sites been working fine for years but recently just noticed the odd order with no shipping cost applied.
If I create dummy account, add items to cart then log out or leave site, when I return I can checkout without shipping costs being applied.
At the moment I am having to send paypal invoices to customers requesting shipping payment, ( 3 times this week ) not very professional.
Thanks for your time

Hi
It have happend only once for me, and yes im am using PP Std, but for me, i'm not able to reproduce the problem using a dummy account.
There are threads telling about that using PP std, that PP on some occasions do not pick up expenses.
I suspect PP is the one to blame, but i cant prove that :/
Are you using OC std. checkout or a mod checkout solution?

Yes, are two days I'm becoming crazy about this issue. I log off and log in again, the cart was shown correctly with shipping but after redirection to PP shipping disappears.
I'm running OC 2.0.3.1 with Journal-2 2.6.1
Ticket opened just now. I post here again updates

Hello,
today the Journal developers sent me a new version 2.6.2 of the template and seems this issue solved.
I think they will publish quickly the new release and anyway, once published, you had to get the advice to update in the template section of your opencart
