I accidently deleted my entire database
Luckily I had a phpmyadmin backup and a opencart backup
I have restored the database and now I have a blank storefront !!!
No error in the log, no hidden source , nada! i tried renaming index.php to .html and it read just fine. I even manually typed index.php into the browser still no luck :O
im using cart in header and loginbox extensions
Please help!!
update: I have uploaded the install directory and deleted both config.php in hopes of getting different results. Now considering a complete re-install (argh) any suggestions ?
Delete your database (save the backup), delete your files (make sure you have a backup).
Do a clean install with the same version and see if the site shows up.
If it show up, restore your db via phpMyAdmin, see if the site comes up.
If it does not, come back here.
Then upload the images directory from your backup, see if the site comes up.
If not, come back here.
Good luck!

[How to] BTW + Verzend + betaal setup.
I ended up installing a clean copy in a diff directory and leaving the other install intact. Once up and running I restored the db via opencart admin and theme files via ftp. Not only does the fresh copy work so does the old one! Lol. The install must trigger something pretty vital to opencart's operation.
Thanks! I got it from here
