Hello,

Can someone please show me how to align the text field's so that they are all in a vertical line? As you can see the name text field is slightly to the left from the rest?

Thanks,

Spigz

My first test would be to add spaces..
the other titles have 17 spaces...the name has 6, have you tried adding a second : plus 10 spaces?

Hi thank you for your reply.

I have tested this theory but it doesn't work, thank you though.

Into the options name box? This just brings up Name :

Is there a way of putting this in the product tpl file so that they are aligned?

Many thanks,

Buddy, I'm quite new here and dont know if its going to help you in this case, but what I usually do is right click on the element you wanna change (I use google chrome) and click Inspect element... it will give you the exactly line this element is in css so you can change there... hope it works...
By the way... I have name options in my store as well and I would like to add this "15 characters max"... I've been trying to put this line but with no success... can you help me with that? thank you and hope my tip can help you too

Hi, what opencart version are you using? I used this mod http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... 31&page=12 to get the max character limit.

You will need the latest version of vQmod. I use this on opencart 1.5.6 and works but it works for other versions aswell. :) Hope that helps.

Thanks,

why don't you just do the simple task of defining a width for the name so they will all be in line?

defining a width for the name doesnt work. Thanks for your help though!

I think i'm going to have to put the options in a table along with the text fields.

Yup, going to have to use the table to get them to align all the same
