I have a small problem, my logo vanished, and the imagemanager showed as blank, but the inages show up in the relevant folder when i checed this in cpanel file manager.

i removed opencart and then reinstalled this to see if this made a difference but the image manager is still blank at least i have the default logo, but even after restoring the database all my images have vanished, and the brand dropdown menue shows the default brands and the lastest products show the text and prices of the default items, but these are not listing the the admin area and are not in the database.

I'm wondering what your hoster is saying about your issues running OpenCart on their server.

it is funny that you blame us (the moderators), Opencart but i hear none about your own faults or support from your server.

You are a hoster yourself yet you cannot solve a problem NO-ONE else has?

I've run into this problem as well on my site. I had it working and then one day I uploaded a new image and it stopped refreshing. I removed that new image and it came back. I thought it was the image but it seems to happen to all images from this point on now. So I'm not sure what the reason is. It might be a permissions problem on my folders. The filemanager still has some quirks in it. The whole thing shouldn't just break because of one bad image, but it does.

Hi

It looks likes no-one here knows anything about opencart, as no one has provided me with any help or solution to my problem which does seem to be an opencart issue.

I have paid for a template and have paid for specific modules, but these are useless when the basic opencart has this problem.

There is a lot of knowledge about OpenCart here, just no knowledge about your specific problem.
I have paid for a template and have paid for specific modules, but these are useless when the basic opencart has this problem.
So whos problem is this, we cannot help that you have a specific issue no-one else has.
Maybe switch hoster?

OpenCart is FREE and no warranty comes with it.

I've had it with your complaining and blaming everyone else BUT yourself.

I've already said there is some sort of issue on my site too. I have no solution at this time. Whining about it won't help.

You're commercial paid modules are not affected b this and have nothing to do with it. I told you how to work around the issue. You choose not to listen.

Just to resolve this year old thread..

The solution for me for this was my image/cache/data folder was the wrong permissions.
Another user said deleting the files from inside their cache folder fixed it.
