opencart password hash algorithm

hi all,
I want to learn;
1) password hash algorithm in opencart. (only md5, sha1 or with salt...)
2) which files must I edit to change that algorithm..

only md5
found in system/library/customer.php for the login function
and in catalog/model/account/customer.php for addcustomer function

just to update this thread checking the version im using, 2.3.0.2 , its sha1 with salt
