Java / Tomcat
Quick question to anybody who can help me:
Does my server need to have Tomcat / Java to run Opencart? the reason I ask is that my PCI compliance keeps failing and my hosting company tells me that is because "I have Tomcat installed on the server". I don't even know what it is and have never had it installed. So if I ask them to remove it will it affect the running of my opencart sites?
Thank you
Rob

Re: Java / Tomcat
My vote is to uninstall it although I thought Tomcat was somethng your host would install/uninstall???
My understanding is that you would use Tomcat on the hosting server to run java http apps (.jsp) which is nothing to do with opencart!
Cheers

Yep, thanks Kym, it seesm that it was installed by the hosting company "by accident" but I have had it uninstalled now.
