Hi,
Question about Paypal. Currently, when I use paypal, and click confirm order, I get sent to the paypal screen where it says to login with your paypal account... Much smaller on the screen, is the link for people that do not have paypal accounts.
I was wondering, if it is possible to go directly to the screen where NON PAYPAL users can directly enter their credit card info. And, on that screen, there is a smaller area, wehre current paypal users can log in.
This would make a lot of sense, since not everyone has paypal accounts, and some people have been deterred from buying when they reach the screen that says login with your paypal account.
Thanks.

Paypal is a strange creature.
To get the feature you are after, you need to change the setting in your paypal account called "PayPal Account Optional" and set it to YES. Its under Profile->Website Payment Preferences
But still, paypal uses a cookie.
If you've been to the paypal site and have logged in with your paypal account, then it still won't show you the CC screen. This is because they still want you to use your paypal account.
But if you've not been to paypal's site in a while (or ever) then you will see the CC screen. Best way to test this is to delete your cookies from paypal and try checking out.

Aha!
Thank you so much. It was actually working, I didn't realize it sniffed me out as a current paypal user.
You were so much more helpful than the foreign customer service lady I talked. She didn't have a clue about what you just told me.
Thanks again.

I think you need to set it in your PayPal panel in your PayPal account.
