Image manager

Hi all, just installed a fresh copy of OC 1.5.5.1, i have noticed when using the image manager it lags out completely, it can take anything upto 5 minutes to upload an image on my 20mb upload connection, whilst uploading images the main site also has the same problem, any advice would be great, thanks

Two behaviors of yours, two of its. Not letting admin panel finish what is was told to do, before giving it something next to do, causes failures to Save and more often causes automatic log-outs; wait till status bar stops dead, let it do one jumping jack at a time. Looking at admin panel and store (particularly as logged-in customer) at once causes both to set mutually incompatible cookies and alternately require logging back in; do one or the other in one browser at once (or use plural browsers on one machine or plural machines).

Thanks for your help but my host just modified php.ini and now it works great

Then you w-e-r-e letting it finish, and it was slowed by essentially two or few constraints that were lifted in php.ini by support. Go ahead and mark it Solved if it stays solved.
