As a new forum user, please read the forum rules.

- No OC version posted
- No error / server access logs posted
- No URL posted

More information is needed. In addition, ensure to have followed the install.txt file from the downloaded OC ZIP file and to have properly configured your config.php and admin/config.php files with the right relative server path.

I would suggest opening your php.ini file and turning on error reporting along with checking the cPanel log https://documentation.cpanel.net/displa ... iles-Files

You may also want to contact your web hosting support as well.

Check your public_html/config.php file and make sure all DIR paths are correct along with your database credentials

Please read the OC Requirements on below link and check with your hosting service provider .

In addition, viewing the server access logs on your new server would be ideal of the cause of a 500 error message.

a year ago I gave up and went with woo commerce but no other cart compares to opencart. I would like to use it again. . . . with that being said here is the server info - -
Platform Type: Debian
MySQL Version: 5.6.32
Perl Version: 5.8.8
PHP Version: 5.5.22
opencart version: 3.0.3.2
hosting by ipower
Domain ms-signs.com
I re-installed and it does the same thing, every thing goes good with install, admin section works good but home page gives me a internal server error.

PHP Version: 5.5.22
opencart version: 3.0.3.2
PHP v7.3 or above.

As for the internal server error message, no detailed message provided. Please post your error / server access logs. Forum rules.

Does Opencart support PHP 7.3 yet? I know it does for 7.1 and 7.2. Hadn't heard about 7.3 yet.

It does. It's not mandatory for v7.3 as compared to v7.2 but it does help aside from the ZIP Page Compressions.

Several re-installs on the same environment or into different environments (public_html)? Are you using a single store or multi-stores on your domain? When using PHP v7.3.1 and above, do you encounter the same issues since PHP below v7.x releases are no longer supported? Back to page compressions, is the library enabled on your domain already?

More information is needed.
