Error after installing OpenCart 3.0.2

After installing OpenCart and going into the Administrative area I get the following error message show at the top of the page.

Warning: realpath(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(C:\Inetpub\vhosts\goatgirlsoapandmore.com) is not within the allowed path(s): (C:/Inetpub/vhosts/goatgirlsoapandmore.com\;C:\Windows\Temp\) in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\goatgirlsoapandmore.com\httpdocs\admin\controller\common\security.php on line 26.
I also get the security notification to move the storage directory but I'm not sure how to do that or where to move it to.

Some web hosts have open_basedir restrictions on so you may need to have them correct it.

You can ask your host to disable open basedir restrictions

i just chnaged it in the

ngix - .user.ini
apache php.ini
this is what is was originally
open_basedir=/www/wwwroot/www.site.com:/tmp/:/proc/
just edit it what you need ie below
open_basedir=/www/wwwroot/:/tmp/:/proc/

just alter this to allow files in the directory before main web folder.

Once you know you have the right file name, if you're still seeing errors, I'd recommend disabling the file to see if the error continues. Additionally, you can set up error logging to see the root cause of the error you're seeing. Hope that helps dgcustomerfirst
