Font End: Items dont add to cart

Hi,

First time use. OC installed. Database is populated with standard tables. Admin side update with new items/products and changes

The problem-
When in the shop view and select and item it does not go to the cart and the cart stay empty. A notice pop up that it was added to the cart but nothing updates client/shop side.

Anyone have a suggestion where I can look to fix.

UPDATE: Please note that I used the Github version and did not download the package. This is where the problem was in common.js > cart.add(...)

I will now re-install and the problem should be solved
