I purchased and downloaded an extension for 3.0 but all instructions I find for installing it refer to the Marketplace function in the admin interface. I have activated Marketplace but I cannot see my extension as purchased there. Is there a way to install the extension in 3.0 without using Marketplace?

Well, just use the OpenCart.com Marketplace, then log in, and find out, if
you can download your paid Extension there. Just an idea... :D , the OC-3
included Marketplace Module probably does not work yet, as it should...

if this file have name SOME_NAME.ocmod.zip simply use extension>installer. upload the file than in extension>modifications refresh your modifications. than clear in admin main dashboard all cash(small gear in the upper right corner). than in extension>extension>module find your module and make final installation and settings. if for example there not module or some shipping gateway go extension>shipping.
If file naot have "ocmod" in the file name, unzip it and upload all content to your shop root folder....
after all installation do not forget refresh modifications.
I hope this should help.

Cheers
