All. Thanks in advance. Certainly I've done something stupid. But wouldn't post if didn't feel like I have been thorough in trying to trouble shoot myself. New installation of Opencart in Digital Ocean droplet. Have chmod for all files to www-data for Apache2 server and have tried both 755 and 777. Have changed both config-dist to config.php. Have set up Opencart MySQL database NOT with ROOT. But can't bring up the installation page. It just hangs. http://glidehd.com/store/

The error log shows this:

"[Mon Dec 04 01:22:20.437265 2017] [:error] [pid 24464] [client 108.81.246.128:35850] PHP Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/var/www/html/store/system/storage/vendor/composer/autoload_real.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php') in /var/www/html/store/system/storage/vendor/autoload.php on line 5"

I simply downloaded the .zip file from Git and followed the installation instructions. Within the distribution I downloaded there is NOT an an "autoload_real.php" file. When digging through the GitHub files I did find an "autoload_real.php" file, but the first first call from "autoload.php" is "return ComposerAutoloaderInit529edf555723ee7d6785bff5252964ab::getLoader();" This doesn't match the GitHub "autoload_real.php" file.

At any rate, any clue how to get the autoload.php to work? Nothing mentioned in the install.txt about this. Any help truly appreciated!

Php 7.0.22, Ubuntu 16.04.3, MySQL 5.7.20 all running fine.

Thanks,
Rick

Solved the problem by updating and running https://getcomposer.org. Then deleted the Vendor folder completely. This allowed the install page to come up properly. Hope this helps someone.

Thank you,
Rick

Hey,
Have you also tried to install new libraries with composer? If yes did this worked for you and how?
