So I've worked through the steps listed here, (http://docs.opencart.com/upgrading/), and I'm still having issues trying to upgrade. It mentions deleting upload/config.php and upload/admin/config.php but those files don't exist in 3.0.2.0. There are two empty files called config-dist.php though, should those be deleted or are they fine to leave before uploading?

Next when I upload to my store directory and overwrite files/directories there are a few files (image/cache/data/file.png) + (system/cache/cache.zone.###) that won't delete remotely. Are these files preventing me from upgrading to the latest version? Should I go in another way and make sure these files are deleted while uploading the latest version?

My first attempt at overwriting files/directories didn't prove to work as I tried to bring up mystore.com/install and the site just comes back with an error. It won't allow me to access /install at all.

I've restored the files to what they were previously but I'm not sure if I'm missing a step in the upgrade process, does anyone have any additional suggestions? I'm going to try again here and see if I can get different results.

Those documentations are not covering v3.x releases of Opencart, unfortunately. However, has this issue been rectified? If not, for the cache issue you are noticing, followed is the file location on your server, and code, that needs to be replaced to rectify this particular issue: https://github.com/opencart/opencart/bl ... e/file.php
