Square Payment module not updating token?

Hi, I am on OC 3.0.2.0 and using the pre-bundled Square payment module. I have set up a daily cron job on my server using the copied and pasted code under the "CRON" tab in the module settings. Twice now my token has expired and my customers cannot make payments. My understanding is that the cron job is supposed to keep the token up to date. Is my understanding incorrect? Is there something I should check or change to get it working properly?

I'm having the same problem. Every 30 days or so the token expires and payments stop working even though the cron is set up and working. Logging in and clicking the Refresh Token link fixes it but it is a pain. Anyone have any ideas?

Square Payment doesn't update token automatically, it only sends a reminders about it. There's even a comment in the code:

// Send reminder e-mail to store admin to refresh the token

This is the WORST change I've experienced running eCommerce with OpenCart in 10 years.
