Hi guys,

have a trouble with running one of the extensions, it ask me for IonCube Downloader.
My hosting is at 1and1.com and i already installed IonCube at my website root directory and phpinfo says that IonCube connected and all is fine.
BUT that extension doesn't work, and every time when i want to install it it ask me about IonCube.
Maybe you can help. I asked extension support to help me but they never response me back.

You should stay away from this MS Integration product, or ask the author for the source files. OpenCart is open source under the terms of GPL, extensions should not encrypted.

The second screenshot demonstrates that the Zend Engine uses the Ioncube library. The host also needs to be contacted, for this case.

You should also click on the Report button on the extension as developers are not allowed to encrypt code in their extensions.

Who knows what nasties could be buried within the code.

While this is true (encrypted code can be dangerous, and isn't supposed to be on the marketplace), there is unfortunately no longer a "Report" button on extensions. You have to manually report them using the Contact Us page:
