can an extension cause IP blocking by the hosting provider? ??? ???

I've never had problems like this, but since I installed an extension I noticed that when I use it, after making changes when I click on save nothing happens, what happens is that doing the refresh or clicking on another backend link I see the page with the IP block notification from my provider. It only happens when I use this extension, otherwise no kind of problem so I suspect it is caused by the extension .... is it possible? ??? ???

I hope someone answers me and gives me some clarification
THX!!!!!

This extension:
https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... n_id=29901

I do not know if you know or have tried this extension, when I insert a new banner in the grid, if I leave it blank (look here emoonx.co.uk) it is ok, but if I insert the image link when I click on save it does not happen save nothing and my IP is blocked by hosting.

I have done several tests with other extensions all right, always when I use this extension my IP is blocked by the host's firewall.

Well, the Testsite presents lines of error messages, as well as the Admin Page, and
such always leaves a mixed impression, on a so-called DEV ...

And the Testsite grabs it's Custom Banner images from all over the world, by using direct HREF-Linking, like:

Code: Select all

https:// wallpaperstock. net/ nature-trees-swamp-reflection-wallpapers_44083_1600x1200.jpg
Your Code may also (still) contain such links, or then, you linked such Sites and URL's, and some
of them just don't belong to the good one's, I assume. But in any case, you should check ALL
Extension content for possible outside-linking anyway, some Fellows are doing strange
things, for what reason ever... ;)
Good Luck !

the developer told me that probably the IP block is caused by the file that checks the license, he gave me the decrypted file to try if I solve the problem but nothing, the block is always repeated
