When I upload my items they are shown alphabetically, but I would like them to be shown by release date. I use a pre-order extension and input a pre-order date for all my items. Is it possible to set my products to display in order of this date?

If you are talking about the frontend, this is a custom feature. it can be achieved by installing an extension. or a small fix in the controller file
