Hi Everyone,

I am the admin of a small jewellery site and we have recently switched to the OpenCart platform.

As a jewellers, we sell rings online in a variety of finger sizes.

It is common practise for customers to order rings in a finger size that is currently not in stock.
We would like to set this up on the OpenCart platform and accept orders while notifying customers of a waiting time for the ring (to be made and dispatched).

Say we have a ring that comes in three sizes - small, medium and large.
While only medium is in stock, we would like to allow customers to order the large or small.

It is upon adding product to bag or proceeding to checkout I would like a notification to show that the ring in that size is currently out of stock and there would be a waiting time of X days.

Can this be done?

Thanks,
K
