All of the category tables, except for oc_category contain this entry for category_id 0. I've searched the programs I've written, but can't see who might be doing this. I have deleted these category entries many times, but they keep showing up.
I have no idea how to track which program is adding this.
Does anyone have any ideas how to help me trace and stop this?

Zero is a default value for INT field in database tables. Most likely, some script adds an entry to the table, but doesn't assign any category. This can be absolutely any script.
