Verifying Google merchant w/ multistore

I've tried a few times to claim my secondary account, if I upload the .html, I have to choose between my primary and secondary store. I've uploaded into the secondaryurl.com folder and it will not verify there.
If I try to veify using analytics i get

There exist(s) 1 other Merchant Center account(s) with a website that conflicts with the URL you're trying to claim.
If you go ahead with your claim, these account(s) will lose their claims and will not be able to upload product data.

but it does not list the conflicting URL, and I dont want my main store to lose it's verification.
any other ideas about how to verify both primay and secondary stores?

For multi-stores, all URLS/sub domains etc should be pointing to the one folder (opencart installation)

You can then upload the Google verification html files to that one public_html folder and all should validate when checked by Google.
