i was a little surprised to see an order generated when a customer used a credit card which was failed by the credit card processor..

the customer quickly switched to another credit card and another order was created successfully...

anyone comment on this?

just checked order no 332 status is failed...

i suppose it has to create a record and set status to whatever i set it to...

i think this is ok...

I have had a couple of failed orders recently, and the customers didn't get an email telling them this, AND there was no mention of the failed order in the cart, so no way to tell them there was a problem. It simply showed up in the Global Iris control panel as order failed and no other details. The customers said they thought the order was successful when they eventually contacted us several weeks later to ask why they hadn't received their order.

So what settings should I have to get this failed order to show up in the cart?

Version is OC 2.3.0.2

you really need to start a new topic and not tag it onto mine because other people will miss it.

you need to say also what payment process you use... if credit card you need to check your card processing config and the gateway people
