The only way to BK OC is make a zip of all shop and the database as well

But if you use the tool OC to BK DB you don´t need log in to the DB, because you will use the restore toll of oc

But if you want you can also can make a BK on phpMyAdmin

1. back up the DB tables using OC built in tool

Just be aware, that an 'OC-internal' OC DB-Backup only back's up the Table
Content, but not the entire DB Table Layout. It would therefore be useless,
trying to make a DB work again, if a new empty DB needs to be filled with DATA
by such an Backup. The only way of creating a FULL DB Backup would be
possible by use of the Server Admin MyPHP DB Tool.
Just to have it mentioned ..
