Hello,
For some reason I am unable to copy and paste from Microsoft word or even word pad without all the styles messing up and the font changing randomly in different sections. The colour changes where ever it likes and no amount of editing within the admin section will allow me to make it all look the same...
Is there an easier way to edit this information within the FTP?
It seems the inbuilt system is fairly poor for this as well as adding product information.
Thanks
If you want to do all that is easy.
Save the word file as html, than copy the source code
and paste on the code view mode on the admin of OC

Of course, you can't copy text from Word with keeping all the styles. This is absolutely normal. Like wrbcorvo said, save it in HTML and only then you'll be able to properly copy the contents. You can simply then open HTML document in your browser and copy text from there.

You should copy normally and then paste with Ctrl + Shift + V, or if that doesn't work, first paste in to notepad and copy from there to OpenCart.
The above suggestions will pollute your product pages with a load of crappy HTML and styles that you don't need. Much better to paste in plain text and then add back in any headings you need.
