Adding Products To Folders

Hello-I am new to OC and running V 2.3.0.2
I notice when i create a new product I land on a page that has a list of products-I can easily see that this is going to get cluttered with page after page of products
Is there a mod or a way to make the products page in admin panel display folders?
For instance 1 folder would say "Safety glasses" and contain all my safety glasses listings
another folder would say "jewelry" and contain all my jewelry listings..
Is this available anywhere?

I use this VqMod-Extension in my present v.1.5.6.5, just to mention it,
depending on selection, it displays the corresponding filter/row in the product List.
