Does anyone know of a little mod that would enable a different email address for the contact form.
It would be really helpful to single out the admin email for customers using the contact form, as it is now everything gets dumped into the same default store email address, witch can be a bit messy IMHO
I know i can add a second email address to get a copy of everything, but that is not what's needed, but rather a little mod that could add a second email field in the store settings for the contact form enquiries so that one can separate contact form enquiries and all the rest of of store communications.
Thanks

You are absolutely right, I could do that, it's not that elegant and it is not what I wish for, and if nothing else pops up that is what I have to do.paulfeakins wrote:Or you could set up a filter in your email client that forwards to an address - probably quicker and easier.

There was a couple there that i haven't checked out
I hope one will surface that only add an extra field in store settings allowing me to single out only the contact form emails, do not wish to touch the order system
Thanks

I downloaded it, but never looked at the install info file first , and so, I was unable to install it as Extension, so, I just installed the unzipped and renamed to email.ocmod.xml (install.ocmod.xml) file by use of the OC Extension Installer.
---
Then, I tried, and run into an ERROR, after clicking the Contact Us SEND, because
Mr. Boozobrain forgot to clear out and reload the Modification Section first. Again, as
informed about in the install info file ...

Conclusion, it works well with my OC v.2.2.6 Clerkscart Multiseller Test Version.
The only visually Problem is, that the Hansjakob Hintermüller is NOT ernst@jacob....,
as it could look on a quick view, on the very bottom image, but ejacob@bluewin..., as
shown correctly in the reply-page-link, just shown above. THIS could be made more
clear, by placing the Customer email in the FROM Field after the Customer Name,
then, nobody would act surprised, on first view, seeing one's own email, instead of the CustomerMail. Just, this would be more complicated to achieve, codewise at least....
But it's a good Solution, just to argue a little... , after investing so much time in something,
I probably can't even use in my Version...
Good Luck !
